The Texas-based boutique law firm of Seltzer Chadwick Soefje & Ladik, PLLC announces a name change with the addition of one of the country’s top immigration attorneys as a partner in its Dallas office.
Steve Ladik joins the 7-person firm founded in 2015. Ladik formerly served as a partner with some of the world’s leading corporate immigration firms.
Ladik has long been recognized as one of America’s premier immigration attorneys with a national practice representing professional athletes and well-known corporate clients. He represents several of the world's and Dallas’ best-known sports figures.
He currently serves as the outside immigration counsel to the PGA TOUR, the National Hockey League, the National Football League, and the Texas Rangers baseball organization. He also represents professional athletes in numerous other sports, including basketball, tennis, soccer, squash, track and field, and figure skating.

Ladik is as a past president of both the American Immigration Lawyers Association (AILA) and the American Immigration Lawyers Foundation. He served as chairman of the State Bar of Texas Board Certification Examinations Committee in the field of immigration and nationality law. He was named “Dallas Best Lawyers Immigration Lawyer of the Year” for 2016. He advised the International Affairs Committee of the Greater Dallas Chamber of Commerce on immigration issues, where he coordinated immigration legislative strategy for the Chamber and its members.
